MAGDOS DE/ DX magnetic drive metering
pumps combine the digital technology of state-of-the-art
microprocessors with high-quality mechanics.
The new MAGDOS Series is very flexible due to its versatility
in the area of external control. The pump can be supplied
with a digital display upon request. This display shows
the different operating conditions and signal error/
The stroke movement of the metering diaphragm is produced
by a DC solenoid. Due to the infinite stroke length
adjustment, The stroke length can be set anywhere between
0-0.18 inches, depending on the pump size. Reduction
gears or rotating parts are not used. The armature runs
in a maintenance-free bushing with PTFE coating and
silicone grease lubrication.
The main part of the control unit is a microprocessor
that controls the stroke frequency with digital accuracy.
The various control possibilities allow the pump to
be adapted to practically all requirements of water
and wastewater treatment as well as industrial processes.
Seven different models are available with capacities
ranging from 0.0003 gph at 150 psig to 2.8 gph at 60
psig. Maximum stroking speed is 100 spm and pump output
may also be controlled by stroke length and/or stroke
Materials of Construction
The pump is available in Acrylic, PVC, PVDF and 316ss.
Suction and discharge check valves utilize double ball
construction. Spring-loaded single ball check valves
are available for high viscosity applications. PTFE-coated
EPDM diaphragms are standard.
